specifically, for possible natural therapies. They get better towards
the end, but they all have something to contribute. The first one is the
hardest to understand for me.
Common causes of atrial fibrillation include
coronary artery disease (especially after acute myocardial infarction),
Herbs that alleviate or prevent Atrial
fibrillation :-
Salvia miltiorrhiza (Dan Shen)
Leonuris cardiaca (Motherwort)
According to Science Daily, atrial
fibrillation, or irregular heart rhythm, may be caused by a common
stomach bug called Helicobacter pylori
The bug in question, Helicobacter pylori,
causes ulcers, and has also been implicated in the development of
stomach cancer and ischaemic heart disease.

Catheter ablation - the approach has cured
more than 1,000 U-M patients who have the most common form of irregular
heart rhythm, called atrial fibrillation or AF, and allowed them to
return to an active life.

Eating tuna appears to reduce risk of atrial
fibrillation
Low potassium and magnesium levels can
trigger atrial fibrillation.
Consumption of n-3 fatty acids from fish was
not found to be associated with a reduction in risk of atrial
fibrillation or flutter.
Radiofrequency catheter ablation for atrial
fibrillation
AF is usually present with other cardiac
problems and its very presence is probably the tip of an iceberg, so to
speak. It is reasonable to think that other heart problems are on the
way when AF appears. To strengthen the heart AF patients should be on a
full range of heart supporting nutrients such as minerals and trace
minerals, co-Q10, L-carnitine, taurine, magnesium, vitamin C, fish oil,
and thiamine. In addition, EDTA chelation therapy, in my experience,
strengthens the heart and provides an anti-coagulant action of its own.
These should be alternated with intravenous mineral drips and this
sometimes stops AF. This is the course I myself would follow if I had
AF, before I would consider the more radical solutions such as ablation
of parts of the conducting system of the heart.
http://www.medical-library.net/phorum/framer.html?/phorum/read.php
Of course you want to remove the sources of
metals (dental fillings, fish consumption, industrial exposure), then
chelate out the remaining body burden. I have had good success in
slowing down some cases of AF with 18% magnesium chloride acetate from
Cardiovascular Research.
These Substances Alleviate Arrhythmias
Amino Acids
Ethylene-Diamine-Tetra-Acetate (EDTA) - the synthetic
Amino Acid used in Chelation Therapy - alleviates Arrhythmias.
By normalizing Potassium flow into and out of Cardiac Muscle cells,
Taurine normalizes the electrical excitability of the Cell Membranes of
Cardiac Muscle, thereby helping to prevent Arrhythmias.
